When login or visiting the Web Site of the CENTAURE Foundation, users agree to comply with the Users Agreement. The Foundation may modify this Users Agreement freely and without notice at any time. The Users Agreement must be read by users under their responsibility when accessing this Site.
1. Intellectual property laws
This Site is owned and run by the CENTAURE foundation (see hereafter “The Foundation”). Presentation and the material included in this Site (frame, texts, logos, photograph, illustrations, graphic material, computer programs, video, audio documents, and other coding documents (html)…) contained on the Site www.fondation-centaure.org (see hereafter “the Site”) are protected by the laws of intellectual privacy and are owned by the CENTAURE foundation or may be used with our express written consent.
According to the article L.122-4 of the intellectual property laws, you may not copy, duplicate, modify, reprint, loaded, altered, transmit or distribute the text material contained in this Site in any way. You may not exploit, create any derivative works of our Site, copy part or complete any material contained in our Site without having the express written and previous consent of the CENTAURE foundation, except for press need and subject to the respect of the intellectual property rights and all other property rights which are mentioned. You may copy or distribute the text material contained in this Site but only for personal, non-commercial use, in your personal computer, provided that you include the following copyright notice on all copies “ "COPYRIGHT 2008 - FONDATION CENTAURE – ALL RIGHTS RESERVED".
All authorized use of component elements and material contained in this Site must be done in any way without distortion, modification or alteration.
The Web Site of the CENTAURE Foundation is a work protected in France by the Intellectual property laws and in other countries by international conventions in force on copyrights. Violation of one of the copyrights is an imitation offense which is, according to the article L.335-2 of the French Intellectual Property laws, punishable of a 2-year jail sentence and a fine of 152 450 Euros.
The CENTAURE foundation, its managers and personnel are not liable for any damages. We are not liable for any claim, interruptions or other inaccuracies that result from your use of this Site done on your sole responsibility.

Our Site contains links to other Websites. These Sites are independent from the CENTAURE foundation and we have no control over these Sites or with their links to other Sites or their contents. Links to these Sites do not represent an approval, a validation or a support to the contents of these Sites; or it is an association with owners or authors, Site managers, coordinator, managers or host managers.
Thus, the CENTAURE foundation is not liable for contents, products, services, advertising, cookies or any other elements of these sites. The CENTAURE foundation is not liable for any damages, loss, proven or put forward that result or related from the use of these information, services or data available on these Sites.
Other sites may contain hyperlinks to our Site. You may not link to the home page of our Site without the previous and express written consent of the CENTAURE foundation. In any case, the CENTAURE foundation is not liable for the interruption of these sites. The CENTAURE foundation does not verify, control or approve or is liable for contents, advertisings, product or elements available on these Sites or through these Sites.
3. Website information and NOMINATIVE information
3.1 No element of this Site can be considered as :
- A research scientific council,
- a pre-selection for applicants,
- the acceptance of a research project or of a manuscript
In this Site, some information is available regarding planning for research programs, scientific events and meetings, prize and allowances for grants. These information may vary and change due to the market’s up and downs or cancelling e.g. for a conference.
3.2 Users can visit our Site without identifying themselves or revealing any personal information. We collect personally identifying data about you, such as your name, address and e-mail address, only when you provide it to us voluntarily. We do not share your personal data with any third parties other than service providers who use the information only to help us respond to your requests. Users accept also that the Foundation may use these data in the future in order to provide other information about the Foundation which might be of an interest for visitors. Visitors have the right to consult their personal data, to correct them if necessary, and to withdraw their consent by sending an e-mail at contact@fondation-centaure.org.
3.3 If visitors are applying for a job through the Site, they accept their candidacy to be processed by the foundation. The foundation may use the personal data given by the applicant in order to proceed to the recruitment. The applicant can consult, correct and if necessary withdraw their consent for the use of their personal data. To that end, applicants can send an e-mail to the candidacy’s addressee.
3.4 Right of access right of reply: any person whose name appears in the Centaure foundation Site can at any time ask for removal or modification of his personal data according to the law 78-17 of January 6, 1978 regarding information, computer files and liberties (called Computer and Liberties Law) by contacting the webmaster of the Site.
3.5 The Foundation promises not to share your personal data sent by e-mail to a third party. Personal data will only be used for responding you as efficiently as possible.
4. Liability restriction
The foundation is doing its utmost for the exactness and the updating of information included in the Site. The Foundation reserves the right to correct contents at any time and without notice. However, the Foundation is not liable for inaccuracies, the precision, the updating or the comprehensiveness of contents available in the Site.
As a consequence and except for direct damages that results from a serious or intended fault from the Foundation, the latest is not reliable for :
- Any inaccuracy, imprecision or omission regarding information which are available in the Site ;
- Any damage that result from a fraudulent intrusion of a third party, which led to the modification of information or material available in the Site.
- Generally speaking for any direct or indirect damages, whatever the causes, origins, natures or consequences are even if such matters have been notified to the Foundation. The Foundation is not reliable for intended damages (i) when connecting to the Site, when users can’t log to the Site (ii), when using the Site, including any damages or virus which might damage your computer or all other equipments and goods, and/or (iii) credits given to any information coming directly or indirectly from the Site.
Contents of the Site or from any other Sites are given « as is » without any explicit or implicit guaranty.
5. Availibility of the Website
You acknowledge (i) that the Foundation, from a technical point of view, does not guarantee that the Site is free from faults and that the Foundation is not compelled to do so. You acknowledge that defaults can lead to temporary unavailability of the Site (ii). The Foundation has no control over events and/or elements which might have an effect on the functioning of the Site (iii), such as transmission and communication means between you and the Foundation and between the Foundation and other networks.
The foundation and its suppliers might, at any time, modify, stop temporarily or in a permanent way, terminate part of the Site or the whole Site to execute maintenance operations and/or to add improvements and/or modification in the Site. The Foundation is not reliable for any modification, discontinuation or breaking off of the Site.
