The Web Site of the CENTAURE Foundation is a work protected in France by the Intellectual property laws and in other countries by international conventions in force on copyrights. Violation of one of the copyrights is an imitation offense which is, according to the article L.335-2 of the French Intellectual Property laws, punishable of a 2-year jail sentence and a fine of 152 450 Euros.
The CENTAURE foundation, its managers and personnel are not liable for any damages. We are not liable for any claim, interruptions or other inaccuracies that result from your use of this Site done on your sole responsibility.
Our Site contains links to other Websites. These Sites are independent from the CENTAURE foundation and we have no control over these Sites or with their links to other Sites or their contents. 3.1 No element of this Site can be considered as :
- A research scientific council,
- a pre-selection for applicants,
- the acceptance of a research project or of a manuscript
In this Site, some information is available regarding planning for research programs, scientific events and meetings, prize and allowances for grants. These information may vary and change due to the market’s up and downs or cancelling e.g. for a conference.
3.2 Users can visit our Site without identifying themselves or revealing any personal information. We collect personally identifying data about you, such as your name, address and e-mail address, only when you provide it to us voluntarily. We do not share your personal data with any third parties other than service providers who use the information only to help us respond to your requests. Users accept also that the Foundation may use these data in the future in order to provide other information about the Foundation which might be of an interest for visitors. Visitors have the right to consult their personal data, to correct them if necessary, and to withdraw their consent by sending an e-mail at contact@fondation-centaure.org.
3.3 If visitors are applying for a job through the Site, they accept their candidacy to be processed by the foundation. The foundation may use the personal data given by the applicant in order to proceed to the recruitment. The applicant can consult, correct and if necessary withdraw their consent for the use of their personal data. To that end, applicants can send an e-mail to the candidacy’s addressee.
3.4 Right of access right of reply: any person whose name appears in the Centaure foundation Site can at any time ask for removal or modification of his personal data according to the law 78-17 of January 6, 1978 regarding information, computer files and liberties (called Computer and Liberties Law) by contacting the webmaster of the Site.
3.5 The Foundation promises not to share your personal data sent by e-mail to a third party. Personal data will only be used for responding you as efficiently as possible.
The foundation is doing its utmost for the exactness and the updating of information included in the Site. The Foundation reserves the right to correct contents at any time and without notice. However, the Foundation is not liable for inaccuracies, the precision, the updating or the comprehensiveness of contents available in the Site.
As a consequence and except for direct damages that results from a serious or intended fault from the Foundation, the latest is not reliable for :
Contents of the Site or from any other Sites are given « as is » without any explicit or implicit guaranty.
